Hi all

My name is Gennady. I'm from Russia. I play outdoor tactical Laser Tag for 4 years. We have more than 100 laser tag teams yearly championships and so on. I'm from Sparta team. We are the champions of the south of Russia.
Are there some international championships in tactical laser tag?
What equipment do you usually use in international championships (we usually use laserwar like this http://lasertagoutdoor.com ) ?
Do use MILES protocols?
What scenarios are usually played in your championships?
Do you have standard championships rules?
We usually use deactivated guns for taggers. Do you use something like that?
Here is video about our game last week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwPh87cNchU
The first part is assault scenario and the second part is trying new scenario with bricks.

Re: Hi all

There's winter laser tag tournament coming in next year in Finland. Place is Levi ski resort in Lapland. They play with Markston Sports equipments. And it could be really extreme condition. Some winters they have played in -38C degree weather. And those MS4 guns worked OK, only battery life is cut down to few hours. It's players who freeze first :) OK, normally winter aren't that bad, only -20C. But anyway, if you're interested, here's bit more: http://www.virtatuotanto.fi/#!more-info ... soon/epqm7.
Trust me, I know what I'm doing

Re: Hi all

I don't think that Russians from Rostov-on-Don would be able to visit such tournament. Most our players are students, so it will be very had for them to get Schengen visa and pay for tickets and so on. So, I don't think that we can compose a team for such cometition. :(
